Ringo in Boston

First time seeing Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band live. We got great seats--the Wang Center is an intimate venue and has excellent acoustics. The place was packed and the atmosphere was electric. Ringo sang several of his legendary solo Beatles songs as well as some of the popular post-Beatles songs he wrote or covered. The other half of the program comprised songs from Santana, Toto, Fleetwood Mac, and others led by Ringo's "guests": Colin Hay, Steve Lukather, Gregg Rolie, and Graham Gouldman, with Warren Ham on percussion and sax and the incredible Gregg Bissonette on drums--all terrific musicians. Ticketmaster was easy to work with and did an excellent job sending reminders of the approaching event and how to pick up tickets at Will Call. It was an event of a lifetime, and my wife and I will always treasure the memories and photos.
